Cocos Dive teaches under the SSI training agency banner. Courses ranging from Open Water to Advanced and Specialty courses are available. Courses can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Minimum numbers do apply.

Learning to dive and taking your first fin strokes underwater is truly an amazing experience. Let’s set the scene. Imagine having fish swimming around you while taking your first breath underwater! All practical water sessions are conducted in pool-like conditions in the waters just off the beach at Direction Island. In between water sessions enjoy the open-air classroom under the coconut trees. Many of our students have dived with mantas, turtles and sharks during their qualifying dives!
An average Open Water course takes approximately 35-40 hours which include water sessions and classroom. As a small, family run business, dive courses are scheduled in conjunction with Cocos Dive’s normal diving program.
